This is a sewing pattern and tutorial of a girl’s jumper dress in the size range 0-3 months (62) to 5-6 years (116).
The pattern is for knit fabrics, but it could easily be adjusted for woven fabric as well. At the end of the tutorial, there are instructions on how to do it.
There are no buttons or closers, you just pull it through the head.
The ruffles on the straps are optional.
You can sew this simple pinafore all year long - use a lightweight fabric and wear it on its own in summer or use a thicker sweatshirt, wool, denim or jacquard fabric and layer it over a t-shirt and leggings or tights for the cooler months.

You can sew the Jumper dress with a knit (jersey, interlock, French Terry, jacquard) or woven fabric of your choice ( cotton, muslin, linen).
